Currency Creator and Designer

Renaissance Currency is a study exploring the intersection of design principles, elements of art, and the impact of money on today's society. I conducted research into the history of currency design and applied these insights to create a conceptual currency inspired by Beyoncé’s influence, using her latest album Renaissance as the central theme. Drawing on Beyoncé’s global power and societal impact, I employed a monotone metallic design to reflect the album's aesthetic. The currency features Beyoncé, her husband Jay-Z, and their daughter Blue Ivy, with a focus on the number 4, referencing Beyoncé’s fourth studio album 4 and Jay-Z’s 4:44, instead of the traditional $5 bill.
